It's the 2025 Sports Equinox. Similar to a solar equinox, when the sun lines up perfectly with the Earth's equator to signal the change of seasons, the sports seasons from the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL all align.

But in autumn, a very special type of sports occasion rolls around that celebrates the ubiquity of American sports and gives fans a reason to stay glued to their couches, eyes fixed on the TV screen.
